Datasets and genome resources 

Amoebidium appalachense

We have created a reference genome for the Ichthyosporean Amoebidium appalachense. The genome assembly, gene and functional annotation can be downloaded from the github repository: https://github.com/AlexdeMendoza/AmoebidiumGenomes/tree/main/ReferenceGenome

We host a genome browser session with 5mC methylation tracks, repeats, giant viruses and RNA-seq:

We also generated genomes / transcriptomes for two different Amoebidium isolates, one for A. appalachense (isolate 9181) and one for A. parasiticum (isolate 9257): https://github.com/AlexdeMendoza/AmoebidiumGenomes/tree/main/Isolates

6mA epigenome tracks

We generated 6mA and 5mC tracks for several protists, as well as H3K4me3 and H3K27ac (Romero Charria et al 2026 Nat Gen), these can be found here:
